Privacy Policy

Last updated 7 August 2026

VERINTON builds portable power, solar and charging systems for a better quality of life. Protecting the information you trust us with is part of that promise. This policy covers both the VERINTON website and the VERINTON mobile app.

1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how VERINTON handles personal information when you visit our website, use the VERINTON mobile app, register a product, contact our sales or support teams, or apply to become a dealer.

By using the website or the app you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using our services and contact us so we can help.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry, honour a warranty, or run the app features you switch on.

  • Contact details you submit: name, email address, phone number, company and country.
  • Product and warranty details: model, serial number, purchase date and proof of purchase you upload.
  • Support content: the messages, photos and troubleshooting notes you send us.
  • Account data if you create an admin or editor account: email address and role.
  • App and device data used to operate features you enable, such as device identifiers, app version, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi pairing details and power station telemetry (state of charge, input and output power, temperature, error codes).
  • Website usage data: pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to sales, support, partnership and dealer enquiries.
  • Register products, validate warranty claims and provide after-sales service.
  • Operate app functions such as monitoring, remote control, scheduling and firmware updates.
  • Improve product reliability, documentation and site content.
  • Send updates or newsletters when you have asked to receive them, with an unsubscribe link in every message.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents, and meet legal obligations.

4. Cookies and analytics

The website uses essential cookies so pages work correctly, and optional analytics cookies that help us understand which pages are useful. You choose your preference in the cookie banner and can change it any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to build advertising profiles about you.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the website, app, hosting, database, email and analytics, and with authorised dealers or service partners when that is necessary to fulfil your request. Providers may process data only on our instructions.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

6. Data retention

We keep enquiry and support records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax and warranty obligations, then delete or anonymise them. Warranty records are normally kept for the length of the applicable warranty period plus a reasonable archive window.

7. Security

Access to our database and admin tools is restricted to authorised staff accounts, data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and administrative actions require authentication. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you suspect misuse of your account.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, withdraw consent for marketing, or object to a particular use. Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights. We will verify your identity before acting and will respond within the period required by applicable law.

App permissions such as location, Bluetooth and notifications can be revoked in your device settings; some features will stop working if you do.

9. Children

Our website, app and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

VERINTON operates internationally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that happens we take steps to ensure your information keeps an appropriate level of protection.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products and legal obligations change. The revision date at the top of the page always shows the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on the website.

12. Contact us

Questions, requests or complaints about privacy can be sent to sales@verinton.com and will be routed to the team responsible for data protection. Please include the email address you used with us so we can locate your records.
